How Lenticular Works

Multiple images are assembled in specialized computer applications. The images are composited and printed on the back of the lenticular material.

Lenticular describes an array of small cylindrical lens on the surface of a clear plastic sheet that focuses to matched image lines on the opposite side of the sheet. When the eye or the sheet are moved from one viewing position to another, different image lines below the lenses become visible. Motion graphic images are a departure from conventional two-dimensional pictures in that the technology offers visual depth and variety.
