LASER PROOF – HARDCOPY

Supply a complete set of laser proofs, color or black and white.

QuarkXPress Users

Make sure you check the following things before submitting your file:

  • All images and graphics are 300 dpi and use the correct color mode (NO RGB).

  • All Adobe Illustrator or vector-based artwork is in correct color mode and all type is “created to outlines” (no fonts needed to print the graphic).

  • Spot color gradients or blends are set to the same color. Example: first color is set to pms 266 at 100 percent and the second color is set to pms 266 at 0 percent.

  • No Pseudo fonts (styles applied to fonts from the font menu).

  • Bleeds are set to 1/8 inch or greater.

  • Extraneous elements on the pasteboard are deleted.

  • Job is collect properly by using the “Collect for Output” feature in QuarkXPress.

PageMaker Users

Make sure you check the following things before submitting your file:

  • All images and graphics are 300 dpi and use the correct color mode (NO RGB).

  • All Adobe Illustrator or vector-based artwork is in correct color mode and all type is “created to outlines” (no fonts needed to print the graphic).

  • No Pseudo fonts (styles applied to fonts from the font menu).

  • Bleeds are set to 1/8 inch or greater.

  • Extraneous elements on the pasteboard are deleted.

  • Job is collect properly by using the “Package for Service Provider” feature in PageMaker.

InDesign Users

Make sure you check the following things before submitting your file:

  • All images and graphics are 300 dpi and use the correct color mode (NO RGB).

  • All Adobe Illustrator or vector-based artwork is in correct color mode and all type is “created to outlines” (no fonts needed to print the graphic).

  • Bleeds are set to 1/8 inch or greater.

  • Extraneous elements on the pasteboard are deleted.

  • Job is collect properly by using the “Package” feature in InDesign.
